Hotaru Meshiai[]
Will Hotaru Meshiai go to Hell for pulling the red string? I didn't see any candle scene or marking on her so I assume not. 75.177.64.224 02:21, November 14, 2011 (UTC)
- The pulling of the red string only signifies agreeing to the terms of Ai's service, which states that Ai will take someone to hell for the client, but the client will also be taken to hell at the end of their natural life. A contract works both ways - that is to say if Ai doesn't do her part of providing her service, the client is in no way bound to the other part of the agreement either.
- As Ai broke the terms of the contract by not taking Takuma to hell and failing to provide her service, Hotaru is clearly not bound to it to make a payment either. This is why there is no reason for Hotaru to go to hell for using Ai's service.
